16 September 1958, Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard situations. Her father worked as a salesman, and her mother worked as a teacher. Jennifer is the youngest of a family of four children she was frequently at her mother's performance in the theater and very much impressed. Jennifer's mother and father separated at age five. Jennifer lived the majority of her youth within British Columbia when her mother relocated there with her four kids. Jennifer was not able to get an excellent education, despite being an extremely artistic young person. As a child Jennifer often became the victim of bullying at Canadian schools. When her enthusiasm for theatre was fading at the age of 16, she began playing in theatre together with her mom. The mother of her children encouraged the entire family to be passionate about arts and crafts. She then immediately started acting.
